Police Blotter

Reports pulled from the Edmonds Police Department files for the past week include an interesting range of items stolen or shoplifted. I can understand six cases of beer, but a cat litter box?

Nov. 16, 23600 block of 97th Place West: A homeowner reported coming home to discover someone had burglarized the house, and a possible suspect was seen entering a vehicle and fleeing the scene.

Nov. 17, 23500 block of Highway 99: A man was arrested after displaying a knife and threatening to slice the jugular of a trailer park resident.

Nov. 18, 23600 block of Highway 99: A man and woman stole six cases of beer from a grocery store. The store manager confronted the couple in the parking lot, but they refused to re-enter the store. The couple’s license plate was recorded.

Nov. 18, 100 block of Main Street: An unidentified suspect with possible mental health issues threatened to shoot customers at a restaurant bar. The suspect left the scene before police arrived.

Nov. 18, 23000 block of Highway 99: A man was cited and released after stealing a purple cat litter box.

Nov. 19, 20600 block of 86th Place West: An Edmonds resident reported a debit card being used without permission in California.
