Edmonds PCC store to host Puget Sound Blood Mobile on Jan. 4

Start the New Year right by giving blood. On Monday, Jan. 4, PCC Natural Market will be hosting the Puget Sound Blood Mobile at its Edmonds store, 9803 Edmonds Way, from 2-5 p.m. This time of year tends to be very slow for blood donations, so your support would be appreciated.

Meadowdale basketball: boys down Mariner, girls beat Stanwood

Connor Hamlett led the Maverick boys to a 61-37 win over Mariner, scoring 20 points in the Wesco South contest Wednesday night. The Lady Mavericks, meanwhile, defeated Stanwood 67-56 in a non-conference game, with Margreet Barhoum and Julia Fjortoft each scoring 19 points.
