Eagle photo

Karen Rosenzweig of Edmonds took this photo Monday of what neighborhood residents are calling the Edmonds eagle. But Rosenzweig just calls him Eddie.

He has another friend (female, I’m sure!) at the end of Sunset, high up in the trees as you turn the corner there. I’ve heard rumor of 3 babies somewhere too!

I hear the eagles during my morning and afternoon bike commutes along sunset and Olympic View. They seem to be in the trees North of Sunset and near the pocket park along Olympic View. Eagles can also often be found hanging out in the snags and trees around the Willow Creek Hatchery (and Native Demonstration Garden).
