Meadowdale boys defeat Mount Vernon, play for berth to state next Wednesday

Next Wednesday at 8 p.m. is the place to be for Meadowdale boys basketball fans, when the Mavericks face Wesco South arch-rival Glacier Peak for a berth to the state 3A tournament.

Meadowdale earned the trip back to Glacier Peak for the playoff game after defeating Mount Vernon 66-44 Thursday night. Connor Hamlett was the leading scorer for Meadowdale with 24.
