Meadowdale boys to play for 5th place Saturday

Congratulations to the Meadowdale Mavericks, who earned the right to play Franklin High School for fifth/eighth place in the state 3A boys basketball tournament consolation final at the Tacoma Dome Saturday. Game time is 11:30 a.m.

Meadowdale defeated Renton 44-36 Friday to earn the trip to the trophy game. Connor Hamlett led the Mavericks with 15 points and 13 rebounds, while Riley Neff-Warner added 13 points.
