Your online vote can help Westgate Elementary win playground money

Westgate Elementary is one of 10 finalists eligible to win up to $5,000 toward new playground equipment — and you can help by voting online.

Simply visit this link: http://projects.kaboom.org/voting/elections/video_2010 and find the Westgate video (it’s the one in black and white set to the music of “Help,” by the Beatles). Then cast your vote. No registration required. You can vote once every 24 hours between now and March 31, so bookmark the link and vote daily — and tell your friends to vote, too.

The organization giving the grants, KaBoom!, is a national nonprofit dedicated to involving communities in building play spaces within walking distance for their kids.

More details on the project can be found here.
