Edmonds ferry run canceled after car grazes worker

Washington State Ferries canceled a sailing from Edmonds Wednesday after a car leaving the ferry Puyallup grazed a ferry worker, My Edmonds News online news partner The Seattle Times has reported.

According to ferry security, the worker received minor injuries when the car struck him. He was taken to a hospital for evaluation, the Times said.

The newspaper reported that the car also struck an inner wall of the Puyallup car deck. Arrangements were being made for the car to be towed off the boat, resulting in the canceled voyage.
