  1. I need to add a few words here because I am so very proud of my husband, Todd Cloutier. Todd served his country for 24 years in the Navy and retired as a Commander last October. Since retiring, Todd has been a Board Member of Sustainable Edmonds, a member of the Mayor’s Climate Protection Committee, and, as mentioned above, a member of the City’s Planning Board.
But wait, there is more! Todd volunteers in our children’s schools. This year he volunteered as a reading parent for my son’s kindergarten class at Westgate Elementary and ran the Kids for Clothes drive single handed! He is always available when the call for volunteers goes out..
There is even more! Todd is a loving father and husband. He supports my career and our boys 100%. Without him, the boys and I would be fast food eating, dirty house living, staying up late fools.
Todd is proven leader. I could not think of a better person to be appointed to Edmonds City Council.

  2. I don’t know Todd as well as I know Priya, but this is what I do know- Priya is a very educated, highly motivated, deeply committed self starter of a person. She does not suffer fools lightly! I value her keen insight and opinions (and we don’t have to agree on everything), She would NOT be married to Todd unless he wasn’t exactly what she says he is- no more, no less.

Here’s what I also know, one doesn’t get to be a Commander in the Navy unless you are smart, organized and an excellent leader of others. All that training and experience is so rare to have so close at hand. Todd is a hands on, team player- able to both lead and build consensus. Todd Cloutier would be great asset to the Edmonds City Council.

  3. Being married to Priya is an endorsement on its own – he simply must have it “goin on” or else she wouldn’t begin to suggest he would be purrrfect as a Edmonds City Council member. I see t shirts in the future – Team Todd!
