The Edmonds Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday afternoon for the new Edmonds Yacht Club, and club members were on hand to show off the beautiful new clubhouse on the Edmonds waterfront.

The club, located at 326 Admiral Way, can be reserved for weddings, business events and other special occasions. For more information, call 425-778-5499 or email audree.eyc@verizonet.

In addition, boating families are encouraged to join the yacht club, which conducts several cruises each year and hosts monthly social events like the Commodores Ball and Holiday on the Docks. While you have to be a boat owner to join, it doesn’t have to be a large boat – 16 feet is the minimum for membership. More information can be found on the Edmonds Yacht Club website.
