Dick’s Drive-In in Edmonds? You can vote on it!

Seattle institution Dick’s Drive-In hasn’t added a new location in 36 years, but it’s now asking fans to vote on where the next drive-in should be built. One idea mentioned: Edmonds.

Cast your vote here. So far the North (Shoreline, Mountlake Terrace, Lynnwood, Edmonds, South Everett) is leading with 43 percent of the votes cast, with the South (West Seattle, South Seattle, Renton, Burien, SeaTac, Tukwila) coming in second with 34 percent.

To the two Dick’s-in-Everett folks, you might get a more sympathetic audience on a site that isn’t, ya know, about Edmonds. ;)

It would be epic if they opened in the former skippers building

Many would like to see a fast food place in the Edmonds bowl. I vote for the old Skippers property.

When does the voting conclude? Do we know when they’ll make a decision?

    Thanks!

Edmonds! If it was at the old Skippers, the ferry folks would LOVE it!

The old Skippers property would be great! I mean, it’s right by the ferry – they’d get tons of business! Plus, it kind of matches the old/classic theme that Edmonds portrays. And trust me, the Meadowdale and Edmonds Woodway High kids will definitely supply a steady lunch crowd. Edmonds! (:

I think the Mill Creek area or East of I-5 on 164TH ST SE leading to Mill Creek would be a great location for Dick’s and for people in Everett to the Northern customer base of the current most northerly store in Lake City.
