“Annie” is coming to Edmonds’ Driftwood Theatre, and you’re invited to be part of this crowd-pleasing musical. The Driftwood Players are looking for a fun and creative team to fill the following jobs:

– Set Designer
– Set Builders, painters etc.
– Music Director
– Musicians
– Lighting Designer
– Costumer
– Lighting Board Operator(s)
– Sound Board Operator(s)
– Stage Manager
– Dressers

In return for your creative help, the theater promises “a great experience, lots of friendships and camaraderie, and an opportunity to give back to the community. This is also a great reason to get out of the house, create another spark in your life, and a way to make a difference.”

And last but not least, the theater says, volunteers can see entertaining theatre on the cheap because you will receive a complimentary ticket to a likely sold-out production!

“Annie” will open on Nov.19 and will run for five weeks, until Dec. 19.

To learn more, you can come to the next Driftwood Players volunteer orientation night (always on the second Monday of the month) from 7-8 p.m. Aug. 9 at the theater, 950 Main St., Edmonds. Or you can call 206-234-5660, or email dutch.heetbrink@driftwoodplayers.com
