Edmonds area fire calls

Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 399 calls the week of Aug. 12-18: 303 emergency medical aid calls, 31 fires, 26 motor vehicle collisions, 17 service calls, 21 automatic fire alarms and one carbon monoxide alarm. The following are calls in or near Edmonds.

Aug. 12

COLLISION.  At 1:35 a.m., firefighters responded to a three-car collision on southbound I-5 north of 164th Street Southwest. One car rolled and came to rest on its roof. Firefighters transported one patient to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.

COLLISION. At 8:38 a.m., a car crashed into a power pole at 100th Avenue Southwest and 232nd Street Southwest in Edmonds. The impact knocked the pole down across the road. Firefighters treated one patient at the scene.

COLLISION. At 12:11 p.m., firefighters took one patient to Stevens Hospital after responding to a two-car collision in the 22500 block of Highway 99 in Edmonds.

Aug. 13

MOTORCYCLE CRASH. At 4:22 p.m., a motorcycle crashed on SR 525 and Highway 99 north of Lynnwood. Firefighters transported the motorcyclist to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.

COLLISION.  At 5:34 p.m., firefighters responded to a three-car collision in the 800 block of Ninth Avenue South in Edmonds. They transported one patient to Stevens Hospital and evaluated two other patients at the scene.

Aug. 14

COLLISION. At 4:03 p.m., firefighters responded to a two-car collision in the 22900 block of 32nd Avenue West in Brier and transported one patient to Harborview Medical Center.

COLLISION.  At 6:08 p.m., firefighters transported one patient to Stevens Hospital after responding to a two-car collision at 196th Street Southwest and 76th Avenue West in Edmonds.

August 15

COLLISION.  At 3:08 a.m., firefighters treated one patient at the scene of a rollover collision in the 4900 block of 236th Street Southwest in Mountlake Terrace.

COLLISION. At 9:33 p.m., firefighters responded to a car that crashed into an auto sales building at 238th Street Southwest and Highway 99 in Edmonds. Witnesses told firefighters and police the occupants of the car fled on foot.

Aug. 17

TRUCK FIRE. At 3:38 a.m., firefighters responded to a pickup truck on fire in the 1000 block of 188th Place Southwest east of Lynnwood.
