Edmonds police ask public’s help in locating missing 17-year-old girl

Edmonds police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 17-year-old Edmonds girl who was reported as a juvenile runaway. Jennifer Lynn Blackstock was last seen at approximately 11 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 26, when she left her Edmonds home without permission, police said.

Evidence suggests that the girl left the house via the front door and there was no sign of force or coercion.  “It is concerning that Jennifer left without money or personal belongings for an extended leave,” the police department said in a statement released Tuesday evening. “Furthermore, it does not appear that she has made use of the various social media she typically relies on.”

Jennifer is described as a white female, 5′ 4″  and weighing 110 pounds.  She has shoulder-length blond hair and blue eyes.  It’s believed she was wearing a black sweatshirt and black jeans when she left her home.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Edmonds Police Department 425-771-0200. After hours calls should be made through 911.
