Lynnwood police seek Alderwood Mall armed robbery suspect

Lynnwood Police Detectives need the public’s help in identifying a white male who robbed an elderly couple just after 5 p.m. Aug. 18 in an Alderwood Mall parking lot in Lynnwood.

The elderly couple, who is from Snohomish, were robbed while in a parking lot in Lynnwood yesterday. The suspect approached the couple in a parking lot as they were entering their vehicle and demanded the woman’s purse while brandishing a weapon. The woman gave him the purse and the suspect fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s with brown hair, wearing a dark work coat, red shirt and blue jeans.
