From Mason Bees and Bumbles through the solitary Halictids, Andrenids and others –  come learn about species of native pollinating bees in a program sponsored by the Edmonds Backyard Wildlife Habitat at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31. The free program for all ages will be at the Willow Creek Hatchery, located at the northwest corner of Highway 104 (Edmonds Way) and Pine Street, in Edmonds.

Washington State University zoologist Dave Pehling will show examples of several kinds of domiciles you can make at home to encourage these helpful insects. Contact Laura Spehar at 425-672-2150 or email edmondsbwh@gmail.com for more information.
