Meadowdale downs Shorecrest 34-2 in home opener

Meadowdale used a strong second half to defeat Shorecrest 34-2 in the Mavericks high school football opener at Edmonds Stadium Friday night. Here’s the scoring summary:

Meadowdale — Nathan Ball 12 run (Renn Smith kick)

Shorecrest — safety

Meadowdale — Sam Thomas 26 yard pass from Nathan Ball (Renn Smith kick)

Meadowdale — Kyle Gage 1 run

Meadowdale– Brian Marty run (kick failed)
