Tryouts Sept. 14-16 for Warrior girls basketball feeder program

Duane Hodges, coach of the Edmonds-Woodway High School girls basketball team that went 25-3 and placed fifth at state last winter, is inviting elementary- and middle school-age girls to try out for the E-W Girls Feeder Team Program. Tryouts will be at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Sept. 14 and 16 at Edmonds-Woodway High School.

“Looking “for girls for 5tlh, 6th, 7th and 8th grade teams that want to work hard and be part of a tradition in the making! It is never too early to wear the purple and green. Be a Warrior!” the tryout announcement said.
