Meadowdale Middle teacher headed to Galapagos Islands

Meadowdale Middle School science teacher and counselor Steve Howard will be traveling to the Galapagos Islands for two weeks, courtesy of a grant from Toyota.

Howard has obtained Toyota International Teacher status and has received a grant through the Toyota International Teacher Program, which offers fully funded, international professional development opportunities for U.S. teachers and aims to advance environmental stewardship and global connectedness in our schools and communities. Howard will be gone Nov. 20-Dec. 4, and during that timehe will be using technology tools to interact with his students and other science students at Meadowdale Middle School.
