Waylon with a Purrfect Pals volunteer.

Purrfect Pals, a non-profit, no-kill cat shelter and sanctuary, is opening a new offsite adoption center inside the Aurora Village PETCO Store (1241 N. 205th) on Jan. 1,  and the shelter is looking for cat-loving volunteers to help.

The shelter is seeking a once-a-week commitment of two hours (for at least three months) to help care for and adopt out kittens and cats at the Aurora PETCO store. For more information, contact Connie at conniegabelein@yahoo.com or 206-240-9561.

Purrfect Pals is committed to rescuing and placing cats and kittens in loving, responsible homes, and saves the lives of more than 2,500 homeless cats each year. In addition to adopting cats through PETCO and other partner stores’ adoption centers, Purrfect Pals helps place special-needs cats and provide a comfortable long-term sanctuary for cats diagnosed with Feline leukemia and FIV-positive cats. The shelter also offer low cost spays/neuters for cats to low-income individuals and families.
