Edmonds Mural Society announces selection of five artists for 2011

The Edmonds Mural Society announced today that five artists have been chosen for the Society’s 2011 theme of Hidden Treasures, which will be painted on the walls of downtown Edmonds’ businesses between July 4 and Sept. 1.
You can meet the artists in person and buy the painting of the mural during the second annual Murals Gala, scheduled for March 26, from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. at the Edmonds Senior Center. Tickets are $35 each, and include a one-year membership. Purchase them on the Mural Society website.

These murals coupled with the 5 (?) completed last year will really brighten up much of our downtown. We all owe the Mural Society a very big thank you for their very generous contribtion to the enhancement of our streescape.
