Bernard grand slam leads Warriors to 11-0 win over Seagulls Monday

Score early and often may be the new motto for the Edmond-Woodway High School baseball team, as the Warriors had a big early inning for the third straight game Monday and came away with a win. The Warriors’ Patrick Bernard hit a grand slam in the bottom of the first to give E-W a 4-0 lead, and the Warriors added on from there, scoring three runs in both the second and third innings and one in the fourth. Edmonds-Woodway’s Ben Roquet hit a double and drove in three RBIs.

Derrick Callahan started for the Warriors and pitched an inning, followed by Ryan Budnick (2), Austin Jones (4) and Ryan Brown (5).
