Edmonds-area lawmakers to host town hall meetings Saturday


State lawmakers from Legislative districts representing Edmonds will be hosting community meetings next Saturday, March 12 in the following locations:

21st District legislators will sponsor a town hall at the Rosehill Community Center, 304 Lincoln Ave., Mukilteo, from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.  Sen. Paull Shin, Rep. Mary Helen Roberts and Rep. Marko Liias — all Democrats from Edmonds — will attend to talk about the legislative session and answer questions from the community.

1st District legislators Sen. Rosemary McAuliffe, Rep.Luis Moscoso and Rep. Derek Stanford will be hosting three town halls at the following locations:

10-11:30 a.m.  Northshore Senior Center
12:30-2 p.m   Cathcart Elementary School
3-4:30 p.m     Mountlake Terrace Library

32nd District Sen. Marilyn Chase, and Reps. Ruth Kagi and Cindy Ryu will host a community meeting at 10 a.m. at Third Place Commons, 17171 Bothell Way N.W., Lake Forest Park.

  1. Not sure who scheduled this but, the Snohomish County Democrats are having their first quarterly meeting that same morning starting at 10:00 am.
