Once again, the Warriors jumped out early on their opponent, scoring five runs in the first inning on their way to a 13-2 home win over Cascade Thursday. Austin Jones hit a solo home run and Ben Roquet had a double that drove in two. Derek Callahan was the winning pitcher, striking out eight in the league victory.

BOYS SOCCER

Mariner 2, E-W 1
Mariner scored the first goal of the game in the 29th minute on a free kick by Miguel Medina, and E-W’s Alec Sakoi responded with a goal in the 37th minute on a penalty kick. Mariner took the lead in the second half when Yahir Sandoval scored a penalty kick in the 78th minute. Erik Whitney was in the goal for the Warriors.
