Elissa Sutlief-Tiffany Kuan (M) def. Sarah Hamburg-Jennifer Bishop 6-0, 6-3; Sage Haynes-Maddy Shields (M) d. Izzy Brandstetter-Kaetlyn Tagle  7-6, 6-3. Records: Meadowdale 0-1 league, 0-1 overall. Shorecrest 1-0, 1-0.

Edmonds-Woodway 6, Shorewood 2

At Shorewood, the Warriors struck quickly as Patrick Bernard hit a three-run double in the first inning. E-W’s Austin Jones went 2-for-3 with two singles and two RBI. Ryan Budnick threw four innings for the Warriors.

Meadowdale 11, Mariner 1
The Mavericks hit 18 singles including two by winning pitcher Alyssa Reuble. Lily Paschal and Shannon Haukap were 3-for-4 for Meadowdale, which is now 2-0 on the season.

Edmonds-Woodway 5, Shorecrest 4

(Tuesday’s game)
Katelyn Lafferty struck out seven in seven innings and also hit a three-run homer for the Warriors. E-W’s Kristin Hayes went 2-for-4 with a double.
