Ryan Budnick’s grand slam in the third inning helped fuel an E-W victory over Kamiak on the Knights’ field. Derek Callahan (3-1) was the winning pitcher for the Warriors.


Meadowdale 10, Lynnwood 4
The Mavericks’ Shannon Haukop went 5-for-5 with two triples, five RBI and scored three runs on Lynnwood’s home field. Meadowdale Pitcher Kylee Studioso, meanwhile, struck out 13 batters, giving up just three hits. She also went 2-for-4 at the plate with a double.

Kamiak 14, Edmonds-Woodway 2 (5 innings)


Everett 2, Meadowdale 1
Scoring in the 90th minute, Everett’s Sam Nelson got the win for the Seagulls in Everett. Peter Mataya scored in the 11th minute for the Mavericks, but Everett answered with a goal by Dave Gebert in the 12th minute.

Marysville-Pilchuck 2, E-W 1
M-P got on the board in the 71st minute with a goal from Anthony Johnson and again in the 73rd minute with a Fabian Panduro goal. E-W’s Gus Cartens in the 76th minute. Erik Whitney was in the goal for the Warriors.
