Have MS or know some one who does? Edmonds’ MS Helping Hands needs your support

MS Helping Hands in Edmonds was created to support those in Washington state diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and their friends and family. But the organization needs your help to continue its good work through the following fundraising events in Edmonds:

Italian dinner and wine tasting, hosted by the Knights of Columbus Charities (through Edmonds’ Holy Rosary Parish), from 6:30-9 p.m. on the following two Thursday nights —  April 28 and May 19, both at Girardi’s Osteria, 504 5th Ave. S., Edmonds. This event includes a delicious five-course meal expertly prepared by Chef Bruno Girardi, paired with premium wines. Tickets are $75 each and seats can be reserved by sending a check, payable to Knights of Columbus, and mailing it to Steve Terry, 23926 W. Woodway Lane, Woodway, WA 98020. Note that there is limited seating for these events and RSVPs are due by April 15.

“Strike Out for MS” fourth annual Bowl-a-Thon from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, May 21 at Robin Hood Lanes, 9801 Edmonds Way, in Edmonds. Cost is $60 per bowler ($300 for a five-man team). Price includes four hours of continuous unlimited bowling with shoes, ball rental and lunch. There will also be a silent auction and door prizes, with Dennis Bounds from Channel 5 as emcee.
