Edmonds-Woodway High School girls basketball coach Duane Hodges got a win Saturday afternoon in the 18th annual Northwest Shootout High School Girls All-Star sponsored by Dick’s Sporting Goods at Chiles Center on the University of Portland campus.

The Washington girls won 103-101 to extend their winning streak to five over the Oregon All-Stars. Boston College signee Kat Cooper from Auburn-Riverside High School led five Washington players in double figures, scoring with 19 points, followed by the 16 points of University of Washington signee Talia Walton (Federal Way).

Colorado University-bound Jen Reese from Clackamas High School led Oregon with 21 points. “The girls were a treat to coach,” said Hodges, who was assisted by Lake Stevens High School Coach Randy Edens. “Having 10 Division 1 players made it pretty easy to score.”
