Don and Lili Hall hosted a party Thursday to celebrate 15 years as owners of Edmonds’ own downtown gardening supply store, Garden Gear. Ruth Arista of Arista Wine Cellars was on hand to pour wine for the occasion, which featured cheese from The Resident Cheesemonger, chocolates from Nama’s Candy and cupcakes from Cakes by Frosted — all local Edmonds businesses.

The Halls also announced that the store has become Garden Gear & Gallery, a name change that reflects the growing amount of art on display in the store, Don Hall said. The store, located at 102 5th Ave. N., is offering 15 percent off all purchases through Sunday. You can also enter free drawings for the prizes.

  1. Love this little store. And, like many small businesses, it’s the people that make the difference. Congratulations to Don and Lili on 15 years – your success is no accident!
