Thanks to Reid Larson of Edmonds, who took these photos Thursday. “Normally on a nice day with a minus tide I go to Brackett’s Landing Beach where the sea life you find under the ferry dock rivals what you’ll see at a fine aquarium,” Larson said. “But today I was just astounded by the immense stretch of pristine sandy beach extending all the way to the Point Wells oil tanks. Children, dogs and seagulls happily played together. When I turned to head back, I saw a bald eagle soaring overhead, unwanted by the resident crows. Larson notes that the tide will be almost as low on Friday at 1:36 p.m. and the weather service predicts another sunny day with highs in the high 60s or low 70s.
