Long waits for afternoon ferry commuters are expected on the Edmonds-Kingston route for the rest of Monday because of repairs to the ferry Spokane, according to The Seattle Times, an online news partner of My Edmonds News.
The reduction in service to one ferry created two-hour waits Monday morning at the Kingston terminal, according to Washington State Ferries. Travelers who then tried the Seattle-Bainbridge route found waits of 45 minutes, the Times said.
The remaining afternoon schedule will be:
From Kingston: 2:30 p.m.; 4:00 p.m.; 5:30 p.m.
From Edmonds: 3:15 p.m.; 4:45 p.m.
