The 100-voice Sno-King Community Chorale is concluding its season Saturday, June 11 with its annual Ticket to Broadway concert, and this year is presenting The Radio Broadcast.

Even if you don’t remember the golden age of radio — Major Bowes Amateur Hour, Your Hit Parade and the songs of World War II — the Chorale predicts you’ll be snapping your fingers and tapping your toes to “Tuxedo Junction,”  “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,”  “Shoo-Fly Pie,”  “Chattanooga Choo Choo.”

In fact, says the Chorale’s Barbara Kindness, you’ll probably find yourself singing along with the group —  “and they won’t mind if you do.”

Special guest artists will include jazz pianist Barney McClure; Jon Pugh on trumpet;  Jack Walters, clarinet; Marshall Bilodeau, drums; Louise Uriu, bass; and the Seattle Jazz Singers.

Performances will be at 3:30 and 7:30 p.m. at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 4th Ave. N. Tickets may be ordered by phone at 425-275-9595 or online at www.ec4arts.org.  Reserved seating is $20, seniors and students are $15. Groups of 10 or more seniors booked together are only $10 each.
