Diplomas awarded Friday to Edmonds-Woodway’s Class of 2011

Edmonds-Woodway High School graduates enjoyed a sunny evening at Edmonds Stadium Friday as proud family and friends watched the commencement ceremony. Student speakers included Amia Nash and Patrick Tokarz. Nash, a three-sport athlete who is attending Santa Clara University on a track scholarship next fall, shared her struggles with depression and talked about the importance of staying connected with friends and family.

E-W faculty members chosen by the students to speak were physical education teacher Mike Anderson and football coach John Gradwohl.
