Join local hummingbird expert Dan Harville for a free banding workshop Tuesday, July 12, at 6 p.m. at the Edmonds Wildlife Habitat and Native Plant Demonstration Garden.
Harville, who has been banding hummingbirds across the state for more than 10 years in order to help track populations, plans to band Anna’s and Rufous hummingbirds. It is not necessary to register for the event. Children are welcome but must be supervised.
The garden is located at 95 Pine Street at the Willow Creek Salmon Hatchery, on the west corner of Highway 104 (Edmonds Way) and Pine Street just south of the ferry toll booth.
