A fire that destroyed a sports equipment storage shed at College Place Middle School over the weekend has left the school’s football team without practice pinnies and jerseys. The team has a game on Wednesday, so it’s vital to have them replaced as soon as possible.

David Vincent, a College Place Middle School parent whose son Ian plays on the team, said he believes the fire occurred at some point Saturday night or early Sunday, as he and his wife had taken a walk past the school earlier Saturday. My Edmonds News is working to get more details on the fire, and we will include those once we receive them.

Meanwhile, anyone who is able to help provide the team with replacement pinnies and jerseys can contact College Place Middle School football coach Pedro Monillas at coahcmonillas@yahoo.com or David Vincent at davidj.vincent@comcast.net.
