Girls soccer

Edmonds-Woodway 6, Monroe 0
The Warriors rolled over the Bearcats, led by the goals of Lindsey Aranda (31st and 59th minute) and Rylee Peterson (48th and 50th minute). The other two E-W goals were scored by Savannah Van Citters at the 70-minute mark and Hannah Thussen in the 76th minute. Sharing in the shutout for the Warriors were  keepers Kiera Towell and Michelle Rumpel

Meadowdale 2, Shorecrest 1 (OT)

The Mavs’ Emily Crichlow scored an unassisted goal in the eighth minute and the score remained tied until the 56th minute when Bri Lasconia of Shorecrest (6-2-1) tied it up on a corner kick pass. Erica Beaulieu made the goal in overtime to give Meadowdale (7-3) the victory.

Volleyball

Meadowdale 3, Oak Harbor 2
Meadowdale edged Oak Harbor 27-29, 13-25, 25-14, 25-18 and 15-11 in Oak Harbor in a match-up of the top two volleyball teams in the 3A Wesco South conference. Leading the Mavs was Payton Shrum, who had 50 assists and 16 digs, and Lindsey Milner with 24 kills and 13 digs. Meadowdale is now 6-1 league 8-1 overall.

Kamiak 3, Edmonds-Woodway 0
The Warriors lost to the Knights  25-13, 27-25 and 25-19. Maddie Houvener had 20 assists and Sidney Eck had 12 kills for E-W.
