The Edmonds-Woodway boys’ basketball team started its 2011-12 season under new head coach Steve Call with a non-league jamboree at Chief Sealth High School in West Seattle Saturday afternoon. Look for a preseason interview with Call, plus more photos, in Sunday’s My Edmonds News.

In addition, we’re proud to announce we will be carrying on Warrior Radio live audio broadcasts of many EWHS boys and girls basketball games, starting this Thursday night with the E-W girls vs. perennial powerhouse Auburn-Riverside and Friday night’s E-W boys match-up against Sultan — both in the EWHS gym.

The EWHS girls begin their preseason Tuesday with a non-league game vs. Marysville-Getchell at 7:15 p.m. We will have a preseason interview with head coach Duane Hodges and a profile of the girls’ team Monday.

We will be listing the full schedule of games to be broadcast on Warrior Radio by Monday.
