Yes, it’s true. There is a mix of rain and snow showers in the forecast across parts of what the National Weather Service calls “the lowlands” of Western Washington for Thursday night/Friday morning, but only spotty snow accumulations are expected.
Sunshine and temperatures “well above freezing” on Friday afternoon will melt much of what accumulates, the Weather Service said.
