Wrestling: Edmonds-Woodway 45, Meadowdale 27
At Edmonds-Woodway H.S.
This match was another classic between these two schools. The Warrior Pit was standing room only and the crowd was energetic and noisy. While the score looked lopsided the match was not at all boring. In the 145 lbs match Andrew Vuliett scored a late reversal to put the match into overtime before finally losing 5-3. At 152 lbs Matt Cuzzetto appeared to have won by a fall, but the call was reversed giving the Maverick fans hope. Cuzzetto rose to the occasion and excited Warrior fans when he dominated his opponent 11-2. The 160 lbs match between Warrior Collin Natterstad and Maverick Lucas Takeuchi went to the final buzzer before Natterstad came away with a 10-7 victory.
Well spoken Mike. Only exception was Nathan Vulliet not Andrew:)
The EW boys did an awesome job and will continue to get stronger as the season goes on. Meadowdale showed improvement from last year and definitely competed.
Fun match to watch
