  1. And for those that rent their homes, have trees shading their roof or don’t have the budget for a full system of their own, they can buy into phase 2 of the Edmonds Community Solar Co-op. We are selling ownership in the 2nd system to be installed this spring on the roof of the Frances Anderson Community Center. Minimum buy in is $1,000 (+ $25 one time co-op membership fee) and we will receive a 30% grant from the federal govt., $1.08/kWh state production incentive, $.04/kWh green tag sales and the City gets all the power produced at a 40% discount. This is a great way for more people to be part of developing solar and receive the substantial financial benefits along with the environmental advantages of using solar versus conventional energy sources. Any WA state resident can own a piece of this commercial scale system. Visit http://www.tangerinepower.com/edmonds for more info. or call Chris at 206-525-3969 after noon. Please join us and help create a solar energy future.
