The City of Edmonds is taking registration for the following winter and spring sports leagues:
Adult doubles pickle-ball leagues on Tuesday nights at the Frances Anderson Center. Leagues start Feb. 28. Divisions are split into upper, lower men’s, women’s and Mixed divisions. Match times are 6:30, 7 and 7:30 p.m. League fee is $33/residents $38/non-residents
Senior Softball Players
If you’re over the age of 55 and looking to play softball, you found the right place. We have players from 55 up to 83 years old. League runs May through August, games on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. at Meadowdale Playfields in Lynnwood.
Adult Men’s Softball Leagues start March 13 with all games played at Meadowdale Playfields. The $712 league fee includes 10 USSSA-officiated games with the top four in each division advancing to playoffs. Registration is ongoing.
These co-ed clinics are coached by Walt Antoncich, Mariner High School Basketball Coach, with 20 years of coaching experience. Emphasis on shooting, ball handling and footwork. Camp is held at Frances Anderson Center March 5-April 9, Beginners Mondays 3:30-4:15 p.m. and Intermediate Wednesdays 3:30-4:15 p.m.. Fee is $65 residents and $75 non-residents.
Are you looking for a camp during spring break? Lacrosse was America’s first team sport and is one of the fastest growing sports in the Northwest. This fun introduction to soft lacrosse includes a visit from a professional Stealth player. Camp runs April 3-5 from 1-2:30 p.m. at Civic Playfields in Edmonds. Fee is $42/residents and $48/non-residents. Campers use equipment approved for soft lacrosse. All campers receive a one-year membership to the Edmonds Boys and Girls Club.
