Waterfront Coffee owners talk about their “little library”

My Edmonds News food writer Lara Alexander did a video interview with Steve and Vickie Balas, owners of Waterfront Coffee Co., about the “little free library” they have created in Edmonds.

After learning about the concept of building free book exchanges, the couple collaborated with Sofeea Huffman of Demetris Woodstone Taverna to create the library. Edmonds is number 858 of the 2,510 that the littlefreelibrary.org project hopes to inspire around the world, “more than Andrew Carnegie endowed.”

It is inspiring to see that thinking outside of the box can be accomplished when people collaborate together. Another plus for the downtown Edmonds business community. Thanks Waterfront Coffee Co. and Demetris.
