Meadowdale eliminated from Wesco 3A subdistrict tennis tourney

Meadowdale’s girls tennis team was eliminated during the first round of the Wesco 3A subdistrict tennis tournament at Jackson High School Wednesday.

In singles, the Mavs’ Sage Haynes lost to Cristina Borsan of Lynnwood, 2-6, 6-0, 6-2 and Jiwon Han lost to Marija Feller  of Shorewood 6-0, 6-1. The Meadowdale doubles team of Sarah Hamburg-Eva Daniggelis lost to Shorecrest’s Keegan Monson-Lauren Rutter 6-2, 6-3 and Maddy Shields-Michelle Cho were defeated by Everett’s Tierney Bagley-Adrienne Muramoto 6-3, 6-1.
