Swedish/Edmonds to host ‘speed dating’ sessions with doctors, expectant parents

If you’re pregnant or thinking about having a baby, but don’t yet have a doctor, Swedish/Edmonds has the event for you: OB Speed Dating, where you can meet six different doctors who deliver at Swedish/Edmonds in what the hospital promises is “a fun, low-key environment.”

Here’s how it works: After you’ve signed up, you and other couples will come to the Swedish/Edmonds cafeteria on Thursday, June 7, for a five-minute, one-on-one interview with each obstetrician or family practice doctor who delivers. There’s no obligation, but if you hit it off with one, then you can make a follow-up appointment when you’re ready to start your care.

The class will be from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Swedish/Edmonds cafeteria, 21601-76th Ave. W., Edmonds. While the event is free, pre-registration is required as space is limited. You can also watch a short video about Swedish’s OB Speed Dating sessions here.
