Warriors drop 5-4 thriller to Lake Stevens; continue on to state playoffs May 19

Jorgen Arneson was named the Edmonds Sports Academy Player of Game in Edmonds-Woodway’s 5-4 loss to Lake Stevens in the Wesco league championship game Thursday night. With the Warriors down 4-2, Arneson hit a two-run double to tie the game in the top of the seventh inning.

Although Edmonds-Woodway ended up losing the game 5-4 in the bottom of the seventh, the Warriors continue on as the second seed in the state playoffs and will play at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 19 at Kent Memorial Stadium, opponent to be determined.
