Errant squirrel causes power outage in Westgate, Five Corners Sunday morning

About 4,000 Snohomish County PUD customers in Edmonds were without power for about 30 minutes Sunday morning after a squirrel got into some electrical equipment, a Snohomish County PUD spokesman said Sunday afternoon.

The outage affected parts of the Edmonds Bowl and Five Corners. Power should be restored to all customers, but if anyone is still affected they should call the PUD customer service number at 425-783-1000.
