Edmonds Parks and Recreation is offering an “All About Owls” mini-camp for kids ages 6-12 on Friday, Sept. 28, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. There is no school for Edmonds School District students that day.
Cost is $31 for Edmonds residents and $36 for non-residents.
Have fun with a Discovery Programs Ranger-Naturalist, and learn about why owls are so silent, what they eat and where they live. Dissect an owl pellet, make an owl kite, and take a walk from the Anderson Center at 700 Main St., up the hill to Yost Park to look for and call owls.
