Sisters set the stage for house sales

How do you sell a house? HGTV devotees know the answer is to hire a stager. And in Edmonds, savvy sellers engage the services of local professionals, including SISTERS Interior Redesign. One of the owners, Diana Young, sent photos of an Edmonds house she recently staged with her sibling and co-owner, Alisa Landreth. Within days of their work, there were four offers on the property.

But the family business includes more than just Diana and Alisa. “While Alisa and I are the owners and principals of SISTERS,” said Diana, “our staging assistants include our sister Brenda Holton, niece Emma Holton, niece Amelia vonSpreckelsen, and our mom Lenore Olberg. Those are our regulars. Alisa’s husband, Rick Landreth, also helps us, as does my husband, Dwight Young, as time allows. Other family members pitch in from time to time as well.”

The sisters and their family assistants also recently staged houses in Greenwood, Green Lake, and Bellevue, and provided complimentary staging of the Edmonds School District and Lynnwood Rotary Foundation house at 6402-208th Street SW, Lynnwood.
While holidays are considered family time, Young and Landreth keep the love going throughout the year. “It’s great having so many people in our family who enjoy helping us on staging jobs,” said Diana. “We couldn’t do it without them!”
