The final competition is set for this year’s Terrace Idol following Thursday night’s semifinals at the Mountlake Terrace High School Theater. Edmonds-Woodway High School’s Caitlin Yanos made it to the semifinal round, but wasn’t selected for next week’s final.

Moving on to the finals are Abby Martinez and Auryana Ashoori, both from Lynnwood High School, and Seniet Zerom, Katy Bodner and Lucas Pope of Mountlake Terrace High School. The five were chosen from among 10 semifinal hopefuls by the evening’s judges, Edmonds School District music teacher Frank Blosser, former American Idol contestant Mackenzie Thomas and Seattle R&B/Hip Hop/Soul artist Michael “TeeWanz” Wansley.

The final round of Terrace Idol is set for Wednesday, Jan. 30, at 7 p.m. in the MTHS Theater. Admission is $5
