Swedish/Edmonds welcomes first baby of new year

Congratulations to the Mendez family of Edmonds, proud parents of the first Swedish/Edmonds baby of the new year.
Baby girl Anaiah, daughter of Lissette Albarracin-Mendez and Carlos Mendez, was born at 4:32 a.m. Jan. 1. She weighed in at 7 lbs. 6 oz. and measured 19.5 inches long. The family has one other child.
To celebrate the special occasion, the Swedish/Edmonds Gift Shop donated a newborn gift basket to the Mendez family.
