The Salish Crossing Farmers Market, now open from 3-7 p.m. Wednesdays in the parking lot of the Waterfront Antique Mall.

The Salish Crossing Farmers Market opened its doors just before 3 p.m. Wednesday, with vendors offering a range of items including strawberries, vegetables, honey, flowers and meats.

Customer traffic grew from a trickle to brisk by 3:30 p.m. Market operators expect to add vendors — to total of close to 20 — over the next several weeks, as word spreads that the market is operating.
